As a trampoline club, we are dedicated to providing safe, effective and progressive coaching and are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our members. From this, the club has put together a set of rules which we ask for everyone to please respect and follow

 

Code of Conduct for participants

 

  • Respect coaches, judges and other participants both in training and competition.

  • Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery must be removed or taped

  • Suitable clothing to be worn; no jeans, strap tops or clothing with zips or buttons, no bare feet 

  • No smoking, alcohol or drug consumption of any kind whilst attending sessions or events

  • No food or drink around the trampolines unless water from a sippy type container. Other items to be kept in viewing area

  • No bad language to be used

  • Remain with coaches at the end of a session until collected by your parent or guardian

  • Upon entering the venue, all shoes must be removed and left in the reception area

  • Keep noise levels down to ensure those on the trampoline and in the hall are not distracted or disturbed

  • Trampolinists must keep off the gymnastics equipment at all times

  • Please ensure that you are spotting at your allocated trampoline at al times unless permission is given by your coach

  • Only those bouncing for more than an hour may take a designated food break between sessions if required

 

Code of Conduct for parents/guardians

 

  • Encourage your child to learn the rules and participate within them.

  • Discourage challenging or arguing with officials, publicly accept officials’ judgements.

  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.

  • Set a good example by recognising good sportsmanship and applauding the good performances of all.

  • Never force your child to take part in sport.

  • Always ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the activity and has plenty to drink.

  • Keep the club informed if your child is ill or unable to attend sessions.

  • Use correct and proper language at all times.

  • Never punish or belittle a child for poor performance or making mistakes.

  • Always collect your child promptly at the end of a session.

  • Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.

  • Endeavour to establish good communications with the club, coaches and officials for the benefit of all,

  • Please share any concerns or complaints about any aspect of the club through the approved channels
